Performance Focus Road Racing Bike

I bought this bike in 1992 when I rediscovered cycling after a long hiatus. I mail ordered it at the time because I was unable to find a high quality road bike in the local bikes shops in the small town in which I was living. In the early 1990's, most bike shops in the U.S.A. stocked mostly mountain bikes and road racing style bikes were out of vogue.

This Ultegra equipped, steel framed, bike from Performance was an incredible bargain. It still works very well. It does have a bad case of the no hand speed wobbles. This happens only at fairly high speeds, probably above 25 miles/hr.
